Program Chess for kids
🏆In 2005 Won an award “Best Volunteer of the year” from Lester B Pierson School Board
FM Penka Apostolova Program is an excellent tool for introducing children to the world of chess and helping them develop essential life skills such as patience, discipline, sportsmanship, and teamwork. These skills can be applied across all areas of their lives.
Designed to teach children how to play chess in a fun and engaging way, the program is suitable for all skill levels. Whether your child is a beginner or an advanced player, we tailor our lessons to meet their individual needs. One of the program’s unique features is its emphasis on teaching children to think critically and plan their moves strategically.
The program covers learning the rules and principles of chess, as well as strategies and tactics. It includes chess puzzles and interactive software to keep children engaged and ensure they enjoy the learning process. By playing chess, kids learn how to analyze situations, think logically, and make decisions based on their observations and predictions.
The season-long program includes an 10-lesson curriculum designed for optimal learning & competition and access to Special reduced seasonal Club Membership rate a 12 weeks schedule. This gives them the opportunity to apply their new skills after each class by practicing with experienced club members.
