What is Emotional Intelligence?
Emotional Intelligence (also known as “EI’ or EQ ‘Emotional Quotient’) is a well-established set of competencies that contribute significantly to performance, engagement and success. EI aids the ability to understand yourself, and others – to identify your feelings and how to use them appropriately in any situation.
Having effective levels of Emotional Intelligence allows you to build relationships, to influence people and manage your own and others’ emotions. Understanding how to motivate yourself, manage stress, inspire the people around you, and live a happy healthy lifestyle is crucial to achieving personal effectiveness.

Test EQ -i 2.0 online
Measuring Emotional Intelligence Test EQ-i 2.0

EQ-i 2.0 self-assessment test structure is similar to the IQ test, which is divided into subscale scores that describe the various aspects of cognitive intelligence, hence the term “EQ” (Emotional Quotient), coined by Dr. Reuven Bar-On in 1985 to describe this parallel approach. The test measures the emotional interaction between the person and the environment in which it operates.
The EQ-i 2.0 consists of 133 short questions using a five-point response scale. It takes about 20-30 minutes to complete the EQ-i 2.0 online, there are no time limits imposed to answer the questions. For respondents who do not use their mother tongue, time is irrelevant. The EQ-i 2.0 is suitable for people aged 18+.
